Sale of Moving Made Easy to the Simplify Group

Wilsons' Corporate team has advised the shareholders of Moving Made Easy, a leading assisted move and part exchange operator for the new-build market, on its sale to conveyancing and property services provider the Simplify Group.

Moving Made Easy has seen significant growth during the last 11 years and is now the largest independent provider of assisted sales and part exchange programmes to housebuilders in the UK. The strategic acquisition allows the Simplify Group to expand its resale services to the housebuilder market and enhance its portfolio of strategic property services providers.

The multi-disciplinary Wilsons team was led by Corporate partner Mark Cook, with support from specialists from across the firm's Corporate, Commercial Property, Employment, Disputes and Corporate Tax teams. The firm worked alongside Azets Corporate Finance in advising the shareholders of MME on the sale.
