We would like to invite you to this year's Agrilaw, where we will be looking at how advisors can add value to their client's interests.
Farmers are facing very challenging times and many will struggle. There are difficult conversations to be had with many and we will set out whether changing the ownership and trading structures will have a more beneficial tax outcome for them should they have to restructure. We will look at the different ownership mechanisms clients use and what this means to advisors and consider some interesting contractual problems and traps within options and pre-emption agreements. Finally, we will look at a few of the more interesting court cases from the last 12 months and why you need to be aware of them. Hint – these are unlikely to be ones you think they will be!
