Salisbury International Arts Festival: Hamlet

Wilsons has again proudly sponsored this years' Salisbury International Arts Festival, a prestigious event that celebrates creativity and artistic excellence. This summer, we were thrilled to support The Lord Chamberlain's Men in their 20th year as they bring to life arguably the greatest play in the English language, Hamlet.

With a rich history stretching back to William Shakespeare's original company, The Lord Chamberlain's Men present this magnificent play as he first envisioned it – in the open air, with an all-male cast adorned in authentic Elizabethan costumes. Accompanied by traditional music and dance, their performance promises to be both thrilling and deeply moving, exploring life's biggest questions and reflecting on our very natures.

The Salisbury International Arts Festival was an incredible two weeks of diverse entertainment. Audiences were captivated by the presence of Patch and Penguin and City Encounters, and delighted by an array of music, dance, circus, and spoken word performances that left a lasting impression. This year's festival has garnered rave reviews, celebrating the rich tapestry of talent and artistry it showcased.
