Court of Protection fees reduction

As of 22 July 2019, the fee for making an application to the Court of Protection has been reduced from £385 to £365. The fee for an appeal at the Court of Protection has also been reduced to £230 and the hearing fee reduced to £485.
The Court Fees (Miscellaneous Amendment) Order 2019 also changed the fee payable for a detailed assessment of costs by the Senior Courts Costs Office. The fee is no longer dependent on the value of the bill to be assessed, but there will now be a flat fee of £85 for any request for a detailed assessment.
