Women’s state pensions error: Claiming your payments (The Money Pages)
11 August 2022
The Money Pages has featured a piece from Imogen Lea explaining who has been impacted by the state pension system and how they can claim what they are entitled to.
An error with the former state pension system means that 100,000 more women have been short-changed on their pensions and this number is likely to increase. It is just another example of how there is still gender inequality when it comes to financial independence. It is more important than ever to ensure that you're not losing out on what you're rightfully entitled to.
Imogen comments: "It is worth speaking to a regulated and trusted financial adviser–the value they can bring cannot be understated."
