Christopher has a broad range of experience as a Tax & Trusts specialist providing both domestic and offshore tax planning for clients. He works with lottery winners, business owners, and other high net worth individuals to provide Wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and lifetime and post-death tax planning. He typically advises UK and offshore trustees, non-domiciliaries and non-resident individuals with links to the UK.
Christopher read Law at the University of Sussex, graduating with a 2:1 Honours. He volunteered for the Citizens Advice Bureau for three years during his studies and qualified as Generalist Advisor. Christopher completed the Legal Practice Course at BBP Law School in London, achieving a Distinction.
Christopher has completed the two-year Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (‘STEP’) Diploma in Trusts and Estates to become a fully qualified Trusts and Estates Practitioner (‘TEP’).
Christopher also holds an additional STEP qualification in advising offshore clients, after completing the STEP Advanced Certificate in UK Tax for International Clients.
Christopher is currently working towards qualifying as a Chartered Tax Advisor (‘CTA’). He is a member of the Association of Tax Technicians (‘ATT’) having passed all of the ATT exams on the CTA Tax Pathway.
Christopher intends to sit his final CTA paper in November 2024 having successfully completed the Advanced Technical Taxation of Owner-Managed Businesses and Inheritance Tax, Trusts & Estates papers.
Outside of work, Christopher is a keen runner and is passionate about charitable work. He ran the London Marathon in 2011, raising over £1,250 for the British Heart Foundation, and then again in 2015, raising over £2,000 for St Michael’s Hospice in Hampshire.
