Clare is a solicitor in our Contentious Trust and Probate team having joined Wilsons in October 2024.
Clare read law at Kings College London and graduated in 2018. After graduating, she spent 3.5 years living in Australia, spending 2.5 of those as a ringer on a cattle station before working as a paralegal for an outback conveyancing firm which confirmed her desire to become a solicitor. On her return to the UK in October 2021, Clare worked as a secretary in the private client department of a firm in Wiltshire before being promoted to paralegal in the firm's civil litigation department. Alongside her litigation work, Clare self-studied for the Solicitors Qualifying Examination and qualified as a solicitor in June 2024.
Clare advises both charities and private clients on claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975, will validity and construction issues, undue influence and problems with executors.
Outside of work Clare plays netball for a local league, regularly attends CrossFit and enjoys spending time outdoors (particularly if her dog can come along too).
