Helen Lello

Helen is a partner in our Property team.

Having trained and worked in London, Helen has been with Wilsons for the last 17 years. 

Helen specialises in rural property and agricultural land and looks after landowners and farmers, assisting them with a wide range of property-related matters, including commercial, agricultural and residential transactions. Aside from the usual sales, purchases and leases she also deals with overage agreements, easements, licences, fishing rights (and other profits a prendre) and releases or variations of rights and covenants.

Recent Work

• Sale of a large forest in the north of England for a trust which included a land parcel exchange with a neighbouring owner in advance of the sale
• Advice in connection with charging a large area of land, buildings and residential properties by a charity
• Sale of land for an estate in a village location to a developer for housing
• Transfer of land from an estate by way of compulsory purchase
• Sale of woodland subject to overage and commons rights
• Acting for landowner in connection with variation of covenants to allow change of use
• Sales and purchases of houses with land whether used for agricultural, equestrian or mixed use
• Sales subject to overage provisions

Away from the office Helen is a school governor, enjoys many types of music, trips to the theatre and can often be found on a tennis court.
