Leah qualified as a solicitor in September 2018. She advises on a broad range of mental capacity work including applications to the Court of Protection, lasting powers of attorney and deputyships. She specialises in property and financial Court of Protection matters including the appointment of a deputy, statutory will applications, applications to replace an incapacitated trustee and applications for authority to purchase property. In addition to Court of Protection work, Leah also advises on the creation and administration of personal injury trusts.
Since qualification, Leah has been studying for her STEP diploma in advising vulnerable clients. She passed with merit in May 2022 and is now a full member of STEP, CoPPA and Professional Deputies Forum.
Outside of work Leah enjoys travelling and spending time with her friends and family. When not walking her dog, she can be found practising yoga or with her head in a book.
