Lisa is an Associate in our Family Team with over 10 years' experience in Family Law. She qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive in 2018.
Lisa has a broad family law practice covering every area of relationship breakdown and arrangements for children, with a particular focus on high-net-worth financial remedy cases. Lisa advises on pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements, as well as cohabitation agreements. She works on complex cases involving trusts and cross-jurisdiction issues. She identifies problematic issues from the outset, with a non-court resolution focus, to achieve the best result for her clients in all circumstances.
She has a specialism in advising unmarried parties on relationship breakdown and the complex trust issues that can arise, working alongside colleagues in other Teams, providing comprehensive advice to clients.
Lisa is a trained Resolution Together lawyer based on the 'one lawyer one couple model', championing the way forward for Non-Court Dispute Resolution and the alternative methods of settlement available to parties. Clients comment that she is compassionate and thoughtful, but not one to hold back on providing robust advice when needed or as a strong negotiator.
Lisa is a regular legal 'blogger' commenting in law magazines and is often approached by the press for her comments on the latest family law cases.
Whilst her focus is on high-net worth cases, she has a passion for assisting all and has dealt with many modest value cases, having to think quick on her feet to protect the children, the family home and to ensure the assets are used to their full potential, and the complexities that arise in doing so.
