Sophia is a senior associate in our employment team. She joined Wilsons as a trainee in 2012 and qualified as a solicitor in 2014.
Sophia provides commercial and strategic advice to a range of employers on a wide variety of employment matters including contracts, handbooks, restructures and redundancies, complex exits and grievance and disciplinary matters. Experienced in employment tribunal proceedings, she defends businesses in a broad range of claims including unfair dismissal, discrimination and breach of contract.
In addition, Sophia acts for independent schools who wish to withdraw from the Teachers' Pension Scheme which includes advising on the collective consultation process and effecting a change in terms and conditions.
Sophia provides practical and timely advice with a focus on solutions to support her clients. Sophia regularly speaks at the firm's HR and Trustee Training events and provides bespoke training in house.
